My challenge with these pieces was to represent through print the fun, quirky, and thoroughly interactive nature of Ham in the Fridge’s client projects. This was accomplished in a variety of subtle ways, from the hand-stamped contact information to the foil-blocked patterns and illustrations visible under certain angles of light, but the most integral part are the cards that slip inside each business card envelope, which can be pulled out and rapidly twisted to produce a double image of four different sorts, much like you’d find as a prize in an old-fashioned children’s snack.
Such extravagance might not seem terribly cost-effective upon first consideration, but the end result is a business card that actually does double duty as a memorable promotional piece and conversation starter.
